Los Angeles Shiatsu, Acupressure and Reflexology...

Both use finger pressure on points along the body's energy meridians. Shiatsu originated in Japan and the word itself means "finger pressure," although shiatsu practitioners use palms, elbows, knees and feet to apply pressure to points called "tsubo," or locations along the body's 12 main energy channels.

Acupressure is similar, but it is usually limited to the use of finger pressure to stimulate the flow of Chi through the body's energy channels. In the West it is usually used as adjunct to other modalities like shiatsu and Chinese medicine.
